The first time I went to Basel I was shocked to find so many incredible Michelin guide restaurants and so much creativity and I decided that I would have to visit the city and its restaurants at least 6 times a year to try the new dishes and see what new restaurants Basel had to offer. September was all about Chinese food for me as I wanted to try the most recommended Chinese restaurants in Zürich and pick out my favourite ones. I am by no means an expert when it comes to Chinese food but having grown up with a lot of Chinese friends I was able to get the right tips and order the right dishes. For me, Chinese food is all about the sauces, the dim sum and the way they are able to combine a variety of flavours that explode in your mouth. Trying out so many restaurants really gave me a whole new perspective on what Chinese food and hospitality really are about.
