Best Burgers in Zürich (2023 Edition)
At first sight, Zürich wouldn’t strike you as a typical Burger city but the options and the quality of the burgers is bound to surprise you. After all, Switzerland is known both for its great meat quality and yummy cheese so how can they go wrong?
After trying almost every burger in town I made the following selection for you to choose from, making sure that there is at least one vegan or vegetarian option available! The Bite and Stamped are the definite winners for me along with Himalaya Burger which is an absolute must try!
The Bite
The Bite is my absolute favourite burger place in Zürich - the burgers are juicy, the fries are delicious and the atmosphere is perfect for a fun night out with friends or a date. Vegetarian options available (and delicious!)

Stamped
Stamped revolutionised the Zürich burger scene by offering a mind blowing burger cooked to perfection - the only difference is, it’s only on delivery so this means it’s the perfect burger for when you feel like doing a take away.

Himalaya Burger
Something a bit different - Himalayan Burgers are definitely not your classic burger, they are more like delicious burger buns and once you’ve tried them you won’t be able to live without them! Definitely worth the try - vegan options available.

Korner
Korner is another one of my favourite place for burgers in Zürich mainly because of their buns! Their sides are also incredible and they offer a vegan burger.

Black Tap
Step into a very American style eatery at Black Tap where the burgers are messy and delicious, the sides are great and there is even a Philly Cheese Steak Burger! Come here with friends and have a fun beer and burger filled evening - veggie burger option available.

Unmeat
The name says it all, everything at Unmeat is 100% vegan and really delicious! Their milkshakes are also amazing and the atmosphere is very relaxed.

Burgerhans
Probably the messiest burger I had in Zürich - the place to go if you’re not expecting a fancy evening but want a nice burger. The craziest thing about Burger Hans? You can choose to have a Bretzel instead of a Bun.

Union Diner
If you’re looking for a real diner experience, Union Diner is the place for you. The atmosphere is straight out of a movie, the burgers are good and the dirty fries are even better.

A cool atmosphere and great burgers - The Butcher is one of the most classic burgers in town, the quality is always good and you won’t be disappointed. They are probably the burger joint with the most vegan burger options.

eNDi Burger
eNDi Burger has a much more sophisticated look compared to other burger restaurants. The burger is great but the Steak Sandwich is almost even better! I like the fact that they don’t have too much on the menu but everything they serve is good.

Burger Meister is the place with the most restaurants in town and you are bound to see it somewhere. All their places are cozy and have a very “burger place” atmosphere.
