Best Brunch in Zürich (2023 Edition)
Brunch in Zürich is a serious deal and you sometimes have to reserve weeks ahead if you want a spot in one of these delicious spots! I started this list a while ago and was never really sure when to make this blog post go live as I kept adding places on a daily/ weekly basis as there are just so many great ones.
This is definitely one of the most complete lists for places to brunch in Zürich but I’m sure I’ll keep adding more and more - also let me know if I’m missing any of your favourite places and I’ll make sure to visit them :)
Kle
For the best vegan brunch in town head to Kle, a delicious restaurant with the cutest terrace and the nicest staff. They have a seasonal changing menu which is great when you want to try new things.

The Artisan
The Artisan in the summer is one of the best, most relaxing places to have brunch in Zurich. The menu is quite big and you’ll find lots delightful dishes. Great place to go with friends.

Collective Bakery
Collective Bakery’s brunch is an absolute must and one of the best in town! The menu is small but everything on it is absolutely delicious.

El Alebrije
Something super special, El Alebrije has the best Mexican brunch in town! This is definitely not your classic brunch spot but all the plates are delicious and the drinks are divine.

La Brea
Tacos for brunch? yes please! La Brea has some of the best tacos in town along with other delicious brunch foods. The place is also super cute and reminds you of California.

Samigo
Samigo is the fun place in town to have brunch - the place if you want to have a boozy brunch. Perfect place to have brunch in the summer as the terrace is really big and close to the lake.

Jucker Farm
My absolute favourite brunch spot outside of Zürich. Jucker Farm has various locations and they all serve the same buffet style food. On a sunny day, head there have some food and walk around nature.

Bohemia
Bohemia is a great place to hang out with friends and have brunch. The atmosphere is super nice and it makes you feel like you are in a brunch spot in London.

MAME
MAME is a real specialty coffee shop with so many options to choose from, they won multiple awards and you can really tell they’re into their coffee! It’s not a typical brunch spot but their food is really good.

Monocle
Monocle is a super cute café in Seefeld where you can find delicious coffee and enjoy a nice brunch. Almost all their food is provided by John Baker.

Miró Coffee is one of my favourite places to go for a coffee and breakfast on the weekend. Love the atmosphere and you can sometimes see how they roast their own beans!

I really enjoy the brunch at Bebek as you can add some oriental touch to the classic brunch menu. The atmosphere is nice and the prices are decent.

I love the Sunday Brunch at Baur’s. The atmosphere is super cool and perfect for a brunch, the food is yummy and the service is really friendly.

Boréal Coffee Shop has different locations but I like the one at Talacker best. A good place to sit back relax and have some brunch.

Babu’s Bakery is one of the most hyped brunch places in town so I recommend you either book or go during the week. The coffee is super good and I love the food too.

Fork & Bottle
Fork & Bottle is a city escape in the middle of the city (they even have a little farm). Their weekend brunch is quite famous and they even have “breakfast beers” and delicious brunch cocktails.

Hiltl
Hiltl has various locations around town and is one of the most popular places for vegetarian brunch. It’s buffet style so you can fill your plate with whatever you like. My favourite Hiltl is Dachterrasse which has an amazing terrace for the summer.

One of the most surprising places in Zürich. Bros Beans and Beats has a cute interior but also a super cozy terrace for warmer days.

Franzos Coffee Shop
Franzos probably has one of the best Latte’s in town! The location is convenient right next to the river and both the interior and exterior are super cute.

Leafs
Leafs is another great brunch spot - they have this thing called “build your own brunch” where you can choose eggs, yogurts breads etc for a very decent price. The atmosphere is also really nice.

Bubbles is known to have the friendliest staff in town - and one of the best brunches. The prices are also very reasonable and the atmosphere is nice.

Milchbar
Milchbar is perfect both in the winter and in the summer time. They have multiple seating options outside and inside and it’s cozy all over. Check it out in December with the Christmas decorations for a special vibe.

Confiserie Sprüngli is one of the oldest and fanciest cafés in town. The coffee they serve is not as good as in other places but the cakes and food are delicious.

The feeling of being in Paris without having to travel there. Montmartre is my absolute favourite coffee place in Zürich’s old town. It’s charming and the coffee is delicious.

One of my favourite brunch spots in the city is actually a Saturday brunch. The Carlton is quite fancy but I like it as it’s a la carte and it’s more like a lunch than a brunch. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect from a “brunch”.

The Dolder Grand
Another fancy Sunday brunch spot is the Dolder Grand. The brunch is CHF 128 pp. but you will leave feeling extremely satisfied. The views are amazing and in the summer there is even a DJ on the terrace.
