Rosemary Citrus Gin & Tonic

This week we started dedicating ourselves to cocktail making after receiving a shaker as a gift and it has been so much fun! we wanted to create a fun and different cocktail using seasonal fruits and wanted something refreshing yet at the same time cozy so we landed on Citrus and Rosemary. Citrus for the freshness and rosemary for the coziness.

You can also make this drink if you don’t have a shaker - just make sure you strain everything before pouring it into a glass as you will end up with a chunky drink if you don’t. This drink is not only super easy to make but also delicious! We used Gin Mare gin as it is our favorite and Fever-Tree tonic.

Prep Time: 5 Minutes

Ingredients for 1 drink:

  • Gin - 60 mL (we use Monkey 47 or Gin Mare)

  • Tonic - 90 mL

  • Fresh Rosemary - 1 spring

  • Clementine - 1

  • Lemon - Juice from half

  • Lemonade (we used this one) - 60 mL

Decoration:

  • Clementine - slices

  • Lemon - slices

  • Rosemary

Preparation:

  1. For this recipe we used a cocktail shaker - you can also make it without but you will have to mix with a spoon.

  2. In the shaker, crush the clementine and the spring of rosemary. You will have to crush it well in order to get all the juices out.

  3. Add the juice from half a lemon, the gin and 2 ice cubes.

  4. Shake well and strain into a glass. Add the lemonade and the tonic.

  5. Squeeze a slice of clementine on top and decorate with a slice of clementine or lemon as well as rosemary.

  6. Serve
